Southern Leopard Frog -  a light-colored spot in middle of tympanum
 

 

Green Frog  - throat of adult male is bright yellow
 

 

Upland Chorus Frog  - has a dark stripe that passes through the eye and 3 stripes on it’s back
 

 

Pickerel frog - snakes do not like to eat this frog because of skin secretions
 

 

Pine Woods Treefrog  – arboreal acrobat that climbs high in the trees
 

 

Little Grass Frog - less than ½ inch in size

 

 

Bullfrog -  eat anything that it can catch and swallow
 

 

Barking Treefrog   -   both a high climber and a burrower
 

 

Squirrel Treefrog -  sometimes called a ‘rain frog’ because it seems to fall from the sky, as it works catch insects
 

 

Eastern Narrow-Mouthed Toad  - they will run, rather than hop, when being chased by a predator
